The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its 10 luxurious cottages (20 Suites) and magnificent main Manor House, is one of the first safari lodges of its kind to blend East African hospitality with old-world Afro-European architecture and decor. Located adjacent to the famous Ngorongoro conservation area and within a 1500-acre Arabica coffee estate, The Manor is reminiscent of an elegant up-country farm home in the Cape Dutch-style of architecture.
Ngorongoro Conservation Area was created as a separate entity from the Serengeti to protect the Masai herdsmen. Initially, the Masai were ejected from their traditional pasturelands in the Ngorongoro Area to protect the wildlife. However, after many deliberations, the masai's ancestral grazing rights were restored but in return they had to forfeit their right to graze their cattle in the Serengeti National Park. This compromise seems to be a success as we are now able to observe an enormous variety of wildlife against the backdrop of some spectacular landscapes.

Grumeti River, known for its huge crocodiles. These antediluvian reptiles, ancestors of the dinosaurs, lurk in the river waiting for the great migration, where thousand upon thousand of wildebeest and zebra, drawn by ancient behavior patterns and fresh grazing, must cross in order to make the great trek from the Serengeti to Kenya's Masai Mara. The wildebeest wear long beards and an apprehensive expression, as well they might. The Grumeti River crocodiles are waiting for their annual meal and they are on the menu. Dinner and overnight at Grumeti River Camp - LDBB
Day 9 + 10:Serengeti
Two nights spent in Serengeti National Park Tanzania's oldest and most popular national park, also a world heritage site and recently proclaimed a 7th world wide wonder, the Serengeti is famed for its annual migration, when some six million hooves pound the open plains, as more than 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle join the wildebeest’s trek for fresh grazing. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Serengeti offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa: great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands upon thousands of eland, topi, kongoni, impala and Grant’s gazelle.
The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Tanzania’s greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Seronera River, while a high density of cheetahs prowls the southeastern plains. After breakfast, transfer to Arusha Airport for your scheduled flight to Serengeti National park ,Lunch at Serengeti Migration Camp
Tucked away in the vast plains, the Serengeti Migration Camp is located at the starting point of one of the world’s great wonders - The Migration. The landscape, originally formed by volcanic activity, has been sculptured by the ever changing climate and now varies from open grass plains in the south, savannah grasslands with scattered acacia trees in the centre, hilly wood grasslands in the north to extensive woodland and black clay plains to the west. Dinner and overnight Serengeti Migration Camp – LDBB
Day 3 + 4: Serengeti
All meals at your Camp. Dinner and overnight Serengeti Migration Camp – LDBB
Day 5:Serengeti – Manyara/Ngorongoro
Morning game drive returning to your camp for breakfast, transfer to Kogatende Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Lake Manyara, on arrival met and transfer to Ngorongoro Conservation with Lunch at your Lodge The Manor at Ngorongoro
The photographer will appreciate the contrast of the cloud charged skies, the brilliant golden sunlight illuminating the vegetation on the crater floor, and the white soda lake where pink flamingos search for food.
Afternoon at leisure great opportunity to explore your rich surroundings with optional activities, choose from a guided forest walk to nearby waterfalls, cultural village visit, mountain biking in the bushveld or even venture into a coffee estate for the afternoon. Dinner & Overnight at Manor Ngorongoro Camp – LDBB

Either way you choose to visit, the Crater Highlands are an unforgettable part of the Tanzanian experience. Dinner & Overnight at Manor Ngorongoro Camp – LDBB
