Detailed Itinerary
Day 01: Entebbe-Kampala
On arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be received by our Airport representative & after the formalities proceed to Kampala for check in. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at Cassia Lodge
Day 02:Kampala-Fort portal
Breakfast and then a briefing from the tour guide about the journey. Start off towards Fort portal via Mubende ,a stopover at Mubende hill to see the legendary Bachwezi Nakayima tree shrine.
Proceed and enroute for lunch and then arrive in Fort portal in the evening.
Dinner and overnight at Fort Kanyanchu Bandas
Day 03:Fort Portal
Breakfast at the campsite/bandas followed by a full day excursion to Kibale National with game drives. Optional-clients have the rest of the day at leisure with optional activities from which clients can choose &pay for directly. Overnight at Fort Kanyanchu Bandas(LDBB)
Day 04:Fort portal -Queen Elizabeth National Park
Breakfast at the camp/bandas then proceed towards western Uganda via Masaka with a stopover at Mpambire drum makers market for a visit and then to the Equator, lunch in Mbarara town to arrive in Queen Elizabeth by late afternoon. Overnight at Ishasha/Mweya Campsite
Day 05:Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game drive and Boat cruise)
Early wakeup call followed by a cup of tea or coffee, after which proceed for a game drive along Kasenyi track in search of early raisers and predators returning to their hideouts. Expect an encounter with the African lions, herds of elephants, antelopes, buffaloes etc. Lunch at the camp then proceed for a fantastic launch cruise and spectacular game viewing at the shoreline.
Dinner and over night at Ishasha/Mweya Campsite
Day 06: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Breakfast and proceed to Bwindi passing through the park's southerly Ishasha sector and having a chance to stop over for a short search of the famous tree climbing lions. Enroute picnic lunch and arrive in the early evening. Dinner and over night at Nkuringo Gorilla Campsite.
Day 07:Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Gorilla Tracking
Breakfast and prepare for gorilla tracking. Proceed on to the park station for a short briefing. Depart for the tracking with packed lunch and water for an adventurous remarkable experience with the cousins of man. You will return in the evening for dinner and over night at Nkuringo Gorilla Campsite.
Day 08:Bwindi Impenetrable National Park- Lake Bunyonyi
Breakfast at the campsite then check out & proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. Arrive in time for lunch followed by an afternoon at leisure. Overnight at L.Bunyonyi campsite.
Day 09:Lake Bunyonyi
Your breakfast shall be served by 07:30am; then have a rest at the shores of lake Buyonyi or go for an optional nature walk around Lake Buyonyi to search for birds both small and large birds. You can also go for boat ride on the Lake to search for water birds and game too. A visit to the visit to the Bahezi people, is a spectacular experience. Lunch will be served at the campsite then afternoon at leisure.

Day 10:Lake Bunyonyi – Lake Mburo.
After breakfast proceed to Lake Mburo national Park; home to the impalas - from which the capital city of Uganda, Kampala was named after - which concentrate around the lake. Along the way you will be able to see the spectacular Kigezi highlands plus some other uncultivated scenery. Arrive for lunch followed by a game drive. Dinner and overnight at L.Mburo campsite.
Day 11:Lake Mburo – Jinja
After a relaxed breakfast, drive to Kampala, with en route stop over at Nakayima tree in Mubende, a cultural tree, where you will be told cultural stories and history. Reach Kampala in the afternoon and proceed to Jinja; Source of the Nile for overnight at Jinja campsite.
Day 12:Jinja( Optional White water rafting)
Breakfast at the campsite then rest of the day at leisure or optional transfer to Jinja to enjoy a full day white water rafting at the Bujagali Falls. Visit the source of the Nile, lunch at the falls and afternoon tour of Kakira sugar works. Return to Jinja campsite for dinner and overnight.
Day 13:Jinja –Sippi Falls
After breakfast depart to sipi falls in Mount Elgon, Mbale. Proceed on to Mt. Elgon campsite at the foothills of the mountain. After lunch you will enjoy a guided walk to all the three waterfalls of Sipi

Day 14:Sippi Falls- Eldoret
An early start to explore the Kerio Valley Fluorspar mines and also to view the fantastic scenery from the escarpment as we proceed to the town of Eldoret where we partake of dinner and have an overnight at Boma Inn Eldoret..
Day 15: Eldoret-Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arriving for lunch there after enjoy a good afternoon game drive in this park that has a fantastic array of bird life including thousands of flamingos, white pelicans and the marabou stork, all water birds that breed in the lake’s alkaline waters. You may spot white rhino and the rare Rothschild’s giraffe that has 5 horns instead of the usual three and clear instead of spotted shanks (legs). Dinner and overnight is at campsite.
Day 16: Kisii
Leave Lake Nakuru after breakfast and proceed on to Kisii with lunch en-route. Visit the Tabaka soapstone mining quarries. Watch the carvers make sculptures out of soapstone. Proceed to a hotel in Kisii town for dinner and overnight.
Day 17:Musoma
Breakfast at the hotel then, crossing into Tanzania, arrive to the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa's largest lake. Take an optional boat or canoe ride on the lake, or do some fantastic bird watching on its shores.

Day 18:Musoma - Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the hotel then proceed to the world famous Serengeti National Park, often touted as Africa's best game park. En route to the central Seronera plains, you will begin to experience the sheer vastness of this territory, and you will marvel at the multitude of animal and bird life while cruising through this acacia-spotted savannah. Arrive in your camp for lunch then proceed for an afternoon game drive.

Day 19:Serengeti National Park
After an early rise we enjoy an early morning game drive, returning to camp for a hearty lunch followed by a brief but well-deserved rest. Later on in the afternoon, as the animal kingdom comes alive, continue your search for the "Big 5" - lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant and rhino. Enjoy the multitude of animal and bird life while cruising through the acacia-spotted savannah while taking in the vastness of the Serengeti plains. Dinner & overnight at Serengeti Campsite
Day 20:Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Breakfast at the campsite and then proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, famous for Africa's best game viewing & named after its central feature, the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, and arguably its most spectacular natural arena. The annual ungulate migration passes through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with wildebeest and zebra moving south into the area in December and moving north in June. Day 21:Karatu
Breakfast at the campsite then depart with packed lunches for a half day crater tour in Ngorongoro. The views from the Ngorongoro Crater rim are stunning, and there is an ever-present abundance of wildlife, due to the permanent water supply on the crater floor. The landscape is made up of a blend of volcanoes, grasslands, waterfalls and mountain forests, where the wildlife is extensive. The southern and eastern boundaries are approximately defined by the rim of the Great Rift Valley, which also prevents animal migration in these directions.
Proceed on to Karatu in the afternoon arriving for dinner and overnight at Campsite.
Day 22:Karatu - Moshi
After having an early breakfast, morning at leisure then continue to your hotel in Moshi. Check in & afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at Spring lands Hotel campsite.
Day 23: Moshi– Dar es Salaam
After breakfast, morning at leisure. Check out then proceed to Dar es Salaam & on to your hotel for check in. Rest of the day at leisure with optional activities from which clients can choose from & pay directly.

Day 24 & Day 25: Extension Zanzibar
Breakfast at the hotel then departs after breakfast to Zanzibar for your extension on own arrangement.

Detailed Program
Day 01:Nairobi -Mt.Kenya
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, you will be met by our representative and after the immigration formalities, board your vehicle and proceed driving through the northernmost foothills of Mount Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch at our campsite. After some rest we can take a walk into the forest. The forest and bamboo are home to Buffaloes, Elephants, Bushbucks and a plethora of bird species. We may be lucky to see some of them. Overnight at Mt.Kenya campsite.
Day 02:Nanyuki (Mt. Kenya) – Samburu
Breakfast at the camp then proceed to Isiolo. It will be a steep descend to Isiolo and continue driving to Samburu National Park gate. Proceed on to Samburu National park. Lunch at the campsite then proceed for an afternoon game drive before returning to your camp for overnight.

Day 03:Samburu National Park
Day spent exploring this unique park. Samburu is popular for its unique “special five” animals (the Gerenuk, Reticulate Giraffe, Gravy Zebra, Somali Ostrich and Beisa Oryx).

Day 04: Samburu National Reserve - Lake Baringo
Have breakfast and drive proceeding further West to Lake Baringo arriving late afternoon at the Roberts camp. Late afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at L.Baringo Campsite
Day 05:Lake Baringo-L.Nakuru N. Park
After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park, surrounding Lake Nakuru, a shallow alkaline lake famous for the thousands of lesser flamingoes who flock here year round. Arrive in your campsite for check in with a game drive enroute. After lunch, enjoy a game drive in the park which has been designated a rhino sanctuary, protecting one of the most endangered species. Both black and white rhinoceros are thriving here. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Campsite
Day 06:Lake Nakuru National Park.
After breakfast head for more game drive in this beautiful park. Return back to the campsite at lunch time. Relax until late afternoon before another game drive or choose to rest until the following day depending on the experience of the previous game drives . Meals and over night at Lake Nakuru Campsite
Day 07:Lake Nakuru National Park -Kisii Hotel
After breakfast, depart & drive to Kisii. Make a stopover at Kisii town for lunch on own arrangement. Hotel arrival should be around 1500 hrs. Spend the whole afternoon visiting the farmlands to see how bananas are grown, cooked and served. Experience how bananas are used to brew local brews and its stocks used to feed animal. Visit Kisii Soapstone Carving Centre and buy exciting stone carvings as souvenirs.

Day 08: Kisii – Musoma (Lake Victoria)
Breakfast at the hotel then drive on to the Tanzanian border at Isebania. Once through with the border formalities you will be handed over to our Tanzania colleagues & continue on through the rocky landscape to the lively town of Musoma. We will be staying overnight at the local campsite situated next to Lake Victoria, the largest freshwater lake in Africa. Afternoon at leisure or enjoy an optional fantastic bird watching on the shores of the lake. Dinner and over night at the Lake Victoria Campsite
Day 09:Musoma - Serengeti National Park
Breakfast at the campsitethen proceed on to the world famous Serengeti National Park; the oldest national park in Tanzania and home to a great array of migrating animals including gnus, zebras and Thompson gazelles. The river runs through the park and you can often see hippos surfacing between the papyruses.

All day spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives.

Day 11:Serengeti National Park -Karatu
Morning game drive then drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a campsite in Karatu.

Day 12: Karatu-Mto wa Mbu
Breakfast at the campsite then morning at leisure. Check out then proceed on to Mto wa Mbu, a town whose name literally means ‘river of mosquitoes’, where we will pitch our tents at the local campsite. Here you can wash the dust off with most of the day at leisure.

Day 13:Mto wa Mbu – Moshi
In the morning before we leave, optional visit to the local souvenir market in Mto wa Mbu.
Breakfast then travel through the dry red landscape surrounded by stunning panoramic views, where, on a clear day you can see Mount Meru, the second highest mountain in Tanzania. We continue on via Arusha, near to the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro to Moshi, where we will spend the night in the campsite.
Day 14:Moshi - Dar es Salaam
After breakfast drive to Dar es Salaam. Spend a day in Dar es Salaam.
Lunch dinner and overnight at Dar es Salaam hotel.
Day 15 :Depart
Breakfast at the hotel before you are picked up then transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO)for flight back home depending on the flight timings or be dropped off at a hotel in Arusha to end your safari.
East Africa Camping
Camping is not only the best way of getting close to Africa, but it could also be the cheapest way to visit the great National Parks of East Africa. Joining a budget safari is a great experience by itself!. These safaris are suitable for any person who enjoys camping and or outdoor activities. Camping in the bush of Tanzania is the quintessential African Safari experience. Just a piece of cloth between you and the African night. A quire of nocturnal birds, insects and distant roaring lions lullabies you to sleep. Sitting around an open camp fire with the southern skies bright over head is the real way of appreciating Africa's magic.
There are campsites everywhere and camping facilitates in all our safari itineraries, to any park or wilderness area. Itineraries are of a superb standard and visit all National Parks and areas of interest. We use good quality 4x4 Land Rovers or Safari Minivans or Overland Trucks with viewing roof hatches, equipment is carried in the vehicles (if number of participating clients requires). Our Safari Driver/Guides have good knowledge of conservation issues, fauna and flora.
Camping trips are accompanied by a Safari Cook who prepares 3 delicious meals daily. Camp assistants may be available on certain safaris according to the number of participating clients. Accommodation is mostly in modern, large two-man tents with a sewn-in ground sheet, with a comfortable foam mattress spread on the ground sheet (clients bring their own sleeping bags ). In some itineraries accommodation can be a combination of camping and simple chalets or bungalows. We use public national Parks campsites, which have flush toilets and hot showers. They have a "clubhouse" where you dine, and sometimes there is evening entertainment.
