Day 01:Arusha
On arrival at the Airport, you will be met and assisted by our Airport Representative together with your professional driver guide upon clearing with visa formalities, escorted to your waiting safari vehicle where you will drive to Arusha .Proceed for a check in at the hotel then rest of the afternoon will be at leisure. Overnight at Arusha Safari Lodge(BB).
Day 02: Arusha – Tarangire National park
Breakfast at your hotel followed by a briefing session on the tour program by our tour guide. Depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park to arrive in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (LDBB)
Day 03:Tarangire National park
Early morning games drive in Tarangire National Park. Morning at leisure then lunch at the lodge. After lunch, proceed for another game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner & overnight. Meals & overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge(LDBB)
Day 04:Tarangire National park -Ngorongoro N. Park
Breakfast at the lodge. Morning at leisure before check out & drive to Ngorongoro arriving for lunch. Afternoon at leisure with optional activities in Ngorongoro. Dinner and overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro (LDBB)
Day 05:Ngorongoro
After breakfast and safari briefing, descend down the 2000-ft walls of the Crater, a World Heritage Site and home to nearly 25,000 animals, for a game drive. Here you have a very real chance of spotting the big five: lion, elephant, endangered black rhino, buffalo and leopard plus countless other African mammal species. The crater has one of the most dense predators’ populations in Africa. Elephant, lion, Zebra, wildebeest and a host of other resident animals are to be found there. Dinner and overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro (LDBB)
Day 06:Ngorongoro-Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Serengeti National Park; undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Arrive for lunch at your camp. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp (LDBB)
Day 07:Serengeti
Spend a second day in Serengeti with both morning and afternoon game drives. Return to the camp for meals and overnight. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Migration Camp (LDBB)
Day 08+09:Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, proceed to Serengeti Serena enjoying lunch before proceeding for full day game drives. Dinner and overnight in the heart of Serengeti in Serengeti Pioneer Camp (LDBB)
Day 10:Serengeti-Lake Manyara National Park
Early morning game drive then leave the lodge to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive with packed lunch. Game viewing in Lake Manyara is quite spectacular due to presence of high population of wild animals. Tree climbing lions, large herds of elephants and thousands of water birds can easily be observed. Meals and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge (LDBB)
Day 11:Lake Manyara to Lake Eyasi
After breakfast drive via Karatu and proceed to Lake Eyasi, where you set up camp and proceed for a trekking trip where you will find the Tindikika Tribe "equivalent to Pygmies of Congo", and exploring Lake Eyasi and its surrounding. Near Lake Eyasi, the Hadzabe are a small tribe who remain hunters and gatherers and speak a click language. It is important to visit them and learn about their culture, they will show you how to make a fire without matches and take you on a hunt with bows and arrows. Meals and overnight at your Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp (LDBB)
Day 12:Lake Eyasi
Whole day spent exploring Lake Eyasi and its surroundings. All meals and overnight at Kisima Ngeda Tented Camp (LDBB)
Day 13:Lake Eyasi -Arusha
Depart after breakfast for Arusha arriving for check in. Afternoon at leisure followed by overnight. Dinner will be on own arrangement. Overnight at Arusha Safari Lodge (BB)
Day 14:Departure
After breakfast and depending on the flight departure time, check out of the hotel then depart for Arusha airport for your departure flight back home. An African Journeys Escapes representative will re-confirm your onward flight, and assist you at check-in. End of our services.
