    Accommodation Insight

All accommodation options are carefully selected for their location, comfort, safety, service quality, and guest reviews. Budget properties offer excellent value, while luxury and luxury-plus options provide premium wildlife experiences, exceptional dining, spa facilities, and stunning views across Kenya's safari parks and coastline.

    Expert Insights

After organizing Kenya safaris for thousands of travellers over the years, one thing stands out: the combination of Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, and Diani Beach offers one of the most complete Kenya experiences available.

Many visitors focus only on the Masai Mara, but adding Amboseli gives you a completely different safari experience. The park's large elephant herds and stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro create some of Kenya's most iconic wildlife photographs. Lake Naivasha provides a relaxing break between game drives, allowing travellers to enjoy a boat safari and close-up wildlife encounters on Crescent Island.

The final beach stay in Diani is perfectly timed. After several days of early morning game drives, the white sandy beaches and warm Indian Ocean waters offer the ideal opportunity to unwind before flying home.

Insider Tips from Our Safari Experts

    • Travel between July and October for the Great Migration and exceptional wildlife viewing in Masai Mara.
    • January to March offers excellent game viewing, clear skies, and fewer visitors.
    • Pack a pair of binoculars for spotting leopards, cheetahs, and distant wildlife.
    • Early morning game drives usually provide the best chances of seeing predators in action.
    • Amboseli often offers the clearest Mount Kilimanjaro views before 9:00 AM.
    • Consider a hot air balloon safari in Masai Mara for a unique perspective of the savannah.
    • Book at least 6–12 months in advance if travelling during migration season or holiday periods.
    • Spend at least two nights in Diani Beach to fully enjoy Kenya's coast after the safari.

    Our Recommendation

For the best balance of wildlife, scenery, weather, and beach relaxation, we recommend travelling between July and October. This period combines the Great Migration in Masai Mara, excellent elephant viewing in Amboseli, pleasant temperatures, and ideal beach conditions along Kenya's Indian Ocean coast.
